Over the last six months Jonny has been working with Bryan Smith
to form one half of the experimental noise project 'Door'. having released a
full length player in october entitled 'Pass Like a Shadow' this month sees the
release of the latest door recordings on cassette [Puppets of Nostalgia]
featuring new material and artwork.
Tracks from the cassette will be availble for download for a
short period of time. the cassette can be purchased by writing to

Jonny also forms one part of ambient group 'TEN' who recently
toured the north of england and scotland in support of their latest ep entitled
'Lowlands'. ten have upcoming shows in both england and europe [please check
site for details] and are currently recording a new extended player to be
released mid/late 2011.
In other news, Jonny Fryer's sound collage ‘Elegy’ commissioned
by Bruce Davies for his exhibition of the same title will feature on Alan
Dunn’s forthcoming CD release: “Liverpool-based artist Alan Dunn is compiling a
cd entitled ‘A History of Background’, exploring the concept and role of
background in art, design, music and film. Confirmed contributions include
content from Yoko Ono and Brian Eno.
There is also exciting news regarding the official release of
the 'Lowlands' ep on a Japanese label [Murmur Records], pressed as a full print
digi-pack. more details to follow. 2011 looks to be an exciting year for these
mountains and related projects. announcements regarding plans for the first
